ABOUT MY TOWN

In this oral presentation, I tolking about my town:

Population:

Banyoles is a town with 17.000 (seventeen thousand) habitants. This town is in Spain. Banyoles has a lot of tourism. I like this town because it has a beautiful lake and a beautiful landscape.

The lake:

The lake is very beautiful, it has a ducks, fish, geese... There is an area for swim, it's really nice. Also has an area for pic-nick to go with your friends, family...

The squares:

There is a lot of places, the ``Plaça Major`` is very important place. There are a lot of shops, the music school...

The shops:

There are a lot of shops in Banyoles, Supermarkets, toy stores, craft, clothing, shoes food, books, magazines .... my favourite is the candy store, I love sweets!

Places to visit:

If you go to Banyoles, you should visit: The lake ( is really beautifull ), the museum (it's very interesting look the fosils..), de ''Plaça Major'', el mirador, Park Neolithic...

OBSERVATION: I think this presentation should have put more information. Maybe do the longest and most interesting. MY CLASSMATES PRESENTATIONS EVA: Should improve body language, and not get so nervous. I liked all the information that has ANNA: Must be improved a bit faster. I liked the information. Maria Sharapova

Maria Sharapova's full name is Maria Yuryevna Sharapova. She was born on 19^th April 1987 in Nyagan, Russia. She's 1 meter 88 centimetres tall.

Maria started playing tennis when she was four years old.

She won a first big trophy : Wimbledon championship 2004.

Dear Sir Ector,
I want to tell you about my difficulties at Camelot, my ride in the forest and my meeting with Sir Pellinore and what happened.
Problems at Camelot: Some noblem of my court are causing trouble, because they do not want to obey a young king. Also I have to fight against enemies from other lands. The Saxons are very bad.
Ride in the forest: I like riding my horse in the forest and look for adventures.
Meeting wiht Sir Pellinore and what happened: One day in the forest when  I was riding my horse I saw a fountain. Near the fountain there was Sir Pellinore. I could not go past the fountain, and I had to fight with him. During the fight my sword broke and Merlin appeared and said: I was king and Sir Pellinore stopped the fight.

PHOENIX

Phoenix is very hot. It's a desert city, it Is in the U.S. I like the swimming pools in this city. Phoenix is in Arizona, and is a small city .

In this city I visited the Grand Canyon. It is amazing! In the Grand Canyon there are a lot of animals like : squirrels, birds…

I love Phoenix, and I hope to return next year!

London is a city in the south of England. London in Roman times called Londium. The population is about 7.5 million now.
There are places in London with the names of important people: Victoria Street...
Famous people from London are Charlie Chaplin, Arthur Conan Doyle, the Beatles...

Toilet food

Would you like to eat from a toilet? Well, now you can: in a restaurant in Beijing, China. The chairs are toilets and the food is served in mini toilet bowls and bidets. Yuck! It's a popular and cheap restaurant. But would you go?

Comfort food

This sleeping bag is ideal for pizza fans. The bag, which was designed by American artist,  Brook Abboud, comes with five toppings that can be deatached and used as cushions. There's broccoli, olives, mushrooms, pepperoni and sausage. It's perfects for a delicious night's sleep.

Titanic 3D

Titanic, the 1997 film by James Cameron, is out in 3D. The story is about Jack ( Leonardo DiCaprio ) and Rose ( Kate Winslet ), two passengers from different social classes who meet on the Titanic's first-class passenger and she shouldn't speak to Jack, who is in third-class. But then they fall in love. It's an emotional film with a tragic ending.

My script

My day:


Every day I get up at 8 o'clock. Next i have breakfast I eat cereals. Then, I clean my teeth, I make my bed and prepare my bag. I go to school at 8:40 by car. The school starts at 9 o'clock, and finishes at 5 o'clock expept Tuesdays at 6 o'clock.
At 5 o'clock U go to my house and then, I go to skate for 2 hours. At 9 o'clock I get home and have diner, I take a shower and do my homework. And then I go to bed.


My week: 


Every day less Wednesday I skate. My favourite day of the week is Tuesday and Wednesday and I don't like Mondays.


My weekend:


On Saturday morning, I get up at 11 o'clock and go to have breakfast. Then I do my homewoork. At 13:30 I have lunch.
At 17 o'clock I go to skate for 2 hours and go to my house, next I take a shower nd watch TV. At 12 o'clock I go to bed.
On Sunday monring, I go to church with my family, at 1 o'clock I have lunch. In the afternoon I do my homewoork and then I watch a movie or walk my dog... And this is my weekend.

Sherlock Holmes

In the books, this is the London address of Holmes and Watson. In the real world, until 2002, it was a bank. It got so many letter from fans that it employed someone to reply! Today, 221B is the number of the Sherlock Holmes Museum. The museum is actually between 237 and 241 Baker Street. But now is officially has the numer 221B. There is also a pub  in London called The Sherlock Holmes!

Nelly Furtado

Nelly Furtado, 29, is a Canadian singer who also has Portuguese nationality. She is famous for experimenting with different music and languages. Nelly sing folk, rock and club songs. She started writing music when she was 13. There's now a CD/DVD version of Nelly's last concert tour, Loose: The Concert

I'm very happy that you're coming to stay with us next Monday. Here's some information about my school.

School starts at 9 and there are six lessons every day except Tuesday, that are seven lessons. On Fridays, we start at 8:30 and finish at 2 o'clock.

The compulsory subjects are: Spanish, English, Catalan, Maths, Tecnology, Sciences, Sport, Arts...

The extra activities are: English, Football, and Basketball...

I have lunch in the school, and the food's are delicious! Every month there's one menu.

Writing

The animal in this photo is polar bear. Polar bears live in the Artic, Canada, Russia, Greenland and Norway. They live and hunt on the ice.

Polar bears usually eat seals. Adult polar bears are 750 kilos. They can swim more than 150 kilometres. The Artic ice is smaller because the climate is changing.

Females have two clubs every four or five years. Pollution is a problem, especially oil. Humans hunt polar bears in some areas.

A special day

In June 24th, we celebrate every year Saint Joan. In this day, we launch firecrackers at night. People sometimes, hang out whit their friends to have fun. In my house we do it as a family. I like it because I spend time with my family.

In my class there are 21 people. Most people are frome Catalonia. ne person is from Asia, and 2-3 form Africa. 

In my school we study Catalan, Spanish and English. My friends speak Catalan, Spanish, Englis, Italian and Sarajule.

My English level is on, I think I get good grades. I would like to improve grammar, for me is very difficult.

On page 30, I tinj the exercises are very useful.
